Over the years HVS Productions has overseen a wide range of clients and projects. Its crews and personnel have been on five of seven continents, from the luxury of the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain to working in mud and rain in Central East Africa. Bob, an accomplished editor, has overseen postproductions in fourteen different languages. The company has received many awards and accolades for its work, including "San Diego Above All" a 43-minute aerial production showcasing the beauty and history of San Diego from an aerial perspective. With Bob serving as Producer/Editor and Marty as director, the show has more than tripled the expectations of Co-Producer KPBS-TV, garnering almost a quarter of a million dollars in local pledges for the San Diego PBS affiliate. HVS followed that success with two other Emmy Award winning shows "Afoot & Afield in San Diego" and "Nature's Classic San Diego". In addition providing crew and support for syndicated shows Entertainment Tonight, Extra, Inside Edition, Amazing Race and Boot Camp. Despite the "glamour" and success, however, HVS has always concentrated on its main goal - making the customer happy. Whether or not a shoot or edit is done directly by HVS principals Marty and Bob, the quality is always top notch. The freelancers who work for HVS have years of television experience under their belt and maintain the quality and creative difference the company has become known for since it's inception almost two decades ago. |
